Students Should Succeed

This is my motto for teaching. If a student does not succeed in everything they do or produce in class, I would take it personally that I have failed the student. Every child should have the same opportunity to meet with me outside of class time for additional assistance and help understanding concepts. Projects should have in class work time to allow for their completion.

There is no reason a child should fail an exam. After individual assessment, students whom may not have grasped the concept should have a chance to redeem themselves. If a class as a whole were to perform poorly, I would simply scrap the exam and re-teach the concepts before providing alternative assessments. Project Policy

Due Dates

Due dates are simply guidelines to help manage my personal work load. If a student cannot complete the task in the required time and produce the best possible project, they may simply turn it in before the completion of the unit and retain their original grade. However, Student who may turn in an irrelevant project to the current subject, weeks late, will not receive such ease. Projects turned in after the unit has ended will receive a 10% overall reduction from the earned project grade.
